At Willow Spring High School Bands, maintaining a polished and professional appearance on stage is an important part of our students’ performance experience. Please read the guidelines below to ensure you have the correct attire for your ensemble.
Concert Band & Beginning Band
Students in Concert Band and Beginning Band are required to wear all-black attire for all performances. This attire is provided by the student and should include:
Black dress slacks with a black dress shirt (long sleeves), black belt, black dress shoes, and long black dress socks
OR
Black dress pants or a black dress (must reach the ankles), black blouse, and black dress shoes or flats
All students should keep hair, piercings, and makeup as natural as possible to maintain a uniform stage presence.
Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble
Students in Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble wear formal concert attire purchased through a local vendor. See the package options below and select the one that best suits you:
Package Options (Choose One):
- Package 1: Black Suit Package – Includes jacket, button-down shirt, dress pants, and black tie.
- Package 2: Concert Dress
- Package 3: Blouse + Choose a Bottom
- 3a: Pull-on straight leg pants with blouse
- 3b: Palazzo pants with blouse
- 3c: Skirt with blouse
- Package 4: ¾ Sleeve Blouse + Choose a Bottom
- 4a: Pull-on straight leg pants with ¾ sleeve blouse
- 4b: Palazzo pants with ¾ sleeve blouse
- 4c: Skirt with ¾ sleeve blouse
Individual Items (if needed):
Percussion Ensembles, Jazz Bands, and Pit Orchestra
These groups will also wear all-black attire for performances, following the same guidelines as Concert Band students.
